2023 IESR Group NFL Mock Draft

orts fans, and welcome back to the IE Sports Radio Blog. The 2023 NFL Draft is minutes away. Months of scouting, research, and debate is about the culminate itself in the three day, seven round event. As has been the case for years, the Draft will begin with the first round on Thursday night. This is followed by rounds 2 and 3 on Friday Night, and rounds 4-7 on Saturday. Mock drafts have been running rampant since the Super Bowl, so now is the time for our network to put one out there. Here is the third annual IESR Group Mock Draft (one round, no trades).

  1. Carolina Panthers (from Chicago) – QB Bryce Young, Alabama

2. Houston Texans – QB CJ Stroud, Ohio State

3. Arizona Cardinals – Edge Will Anderson Jr., Alabama

4. Indianapolis Colts – QB Anthony Richardson, Florida

6. Detroit Lions (from LA Rams) – CB Devon Witherspoon, Illinois

7. Las Vegas Raiders – QB Will Levis, Kentucky

8. Atlanta Falcons – DE Tyree Wilson, Texas A&M

9. Chicago Bears (from Carolina) – OT Peter Skoronski, Northwestern

10. Philadelphia Eagles (from New Orleans) – CB Christian Gonzalez, Oregon

11. Tennessee Titans – WR Jaxon Smith Njigba, Ohio State

12. Houston Texans (from Cleveland) – DT Calijah Kancey, Pittsburgh

13. Green Bay Packers (from NY Jets) – TE Dalton Kincaid, Utah

And there you have it folks! The picks were determined by several team members submitting their mocks for our third annual challenge, and selecting the player who is the most popular pick. There were a variety of tiebreakers used during the process, including some instances of flipping a coin. No matter how good or bad this mock ends up being, 31 young men will have their lives changed forever later tonight. Congratulations to all of them, the remaining players who will get taken throughout the weekend, and all who get the chance to compete in one of the greatest sports leagues in the world.
