Hello sports fans, and welcome back to the IE Sports Radio Blog. The 2024 NFL draft is here! IESR is hosting its fourth annual first round mock draft challenge (shout out to previous winners Adam Karnik, Teran Rodriguez, and Mike Patt). As part of that challenge, all picks get brought together and form the group mock draft. Few picks are unanimous, but usually there is some consensus. In the case where there is no consensus, or the majority pick is gone, there are a series of tiebreakers I have developed over years of putting this together. One of the tiebreakers may or may not involve rolling dice. In any case, here is what the voices of IE Sports Radio have put together for the first round of the draft. As is tradition, we will not have any explanations.

1. Chicago Bears – QB Caleb Williams

2. Washington Commanders – QB Jayden Daniels

3. New England Patriots – QB Drake Maye

18. Cincinnati Bengals – OT Amarius Mims

19. Los Angeles Rams – DE Laiatu Latu

20. Pittsburgh Steelers – OT JC Latham

21. Miami Dolphins – WR Brian Thomas Jr.

22. Philadelphia Eagles – CB Nate Wiggins

And there you have it folks! I want to congratulate in advance the 256 young men who will hear their names called April 25th-27th. It is truly a life changing experience, and I hope they can enjoy it to the max. For those who do not hear their name, do not give up. Opportunities will be there, and there is plenty of room for success in the NFL. No matter what, the work is just beginning.
